We had a great turnout for our September 10th Luncheon. Carol Wentzel came to tell us about Pleasant View Orchard Bakery. If you missed it, here's her info: The Bakery Hours are Thursday-Saturday 10am-5pm or by appointment. The Orchard is open 9am-5pm Monday through Saturday. Sunday, from noon to 5. She's located at W6050 Chapman Road, in Niagara, Wisconsin. You can reach her at 715-927-2450 or 715-927-2050. Carol bakes some wonderful pies, cookies, breads, etc. She also has some diabetic recipes.
Our Speaker was Nancy Brydges from White Bear Lake, MN. She had us all in stitches with her clever wit and funny jokes. "Have you heard that married men live longer?" She asked us. "They don't. It just seems that way." Nancy told us about her days as a bad girl and her journey to Christ. She really did a great job.
Our next luncheon will be October 15. Please note that this is a change from the invitations on the tables at September's luncheon. Call Lynn 779-1828 or Mary 774-3592 for reservations.
